Vivaldi to the Sounds of Monserrate
Enjoy the arrival of Spring with a unique experience at Park of Monserrate, where the music of Antonio Vivaldi guides the discovery of nature’s signs of renewal.
Vivaldi’s Four Seasons
At Park of Monserrate, time is measured not in hours and minutes, but through the signs we recognize in the changing seasons. The moment trees begin to bloom, birds return from migration, or insects start to appear reflects shifts in daylight, rising temperatures, and rainfall—forming a living calendar that connects plants, animals, and landscapes.
This rhythm has been beautifully captured in music. In the 18th century, the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi created one of the most famous works in classical music: The Four Seasons. In this composition, he transformed the unique atmosphere of each season into sound.
We invite you to Monserrate to experience the lightness and renewal of spring, through the perspective of biologist Mário Carmo, accompanied by Vivaldi’s music.
