Vivaldi to the Sounds of Monserrate

To the sound of Vivaldi’s Summer, explore Park of Monserrate and discover the subtle changes of the season through light, sound, vegetation, and wildlife.

Vivaldi’s Four Seasons

What if we could hear the seasons of the year while observing them? Over four moments of the year, this cycle of experiences invites participants to explore Park of Monserrate to the rhythm of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Music becomes the guiding thread to discover the subtle changes in the landscape, the cycles of wildlife, the transformations of vegetation, and the natural phenomena that make each season a unique experience. We begin with summer!

This will be a sensory experience where nature, music, and landscape intertwine, inspired by Vivaldi’s Summer. Along an interpretive route through Park of Monserrate, the visit connects the intensity of the season with an ecological reading of the garden: shade as climatic refuge, water as a vital element, the sounds of fauna, insect activity, plant phenology, and the microclimates that make Monserrate a unique place.

Between thematic stops and moments of attentive listening, visitors are invited to discover how summer expresses itself in the landscape — not only through heat and light, but also through the subtle rhythms of biodiversity.
