From Paper to Gift
In this workshop, we create handmade notebooks using discarded paper and a variety of materials, such as cardboard packaging, tissue paper, wrapping paper, posters and even clothing tags. Through cutting, stitching, and the use of threads and cords, we transform these forgotten materials into unique creations.
Participants are encouraged to bring along their own paper waste to share and give it a new purpose. The workshop also offers a moment to pause and reflect on the importance of protecting the natural world and preserving our forests through more conscious and sustainable choices.

In partnership with Parques de Sintra, the environmental non-governmental organisation Movimento Bloom holds monthly OPEN DAYS at the Farmyard of Monserrate and the Monserrate Nature Interpretation Centre.
In addition to the complementary activities, admission to these facilities on Open Days is free,subject to prior registration via the Parques de Sintra official website. Visitors taking part in the complementary activities are automatically registered for the Open Day.
