Family Galas

The Portuguese School of Equestrian Art presents a new show!

Everyone is invited to attend the Gala “Gentil – Symbol of Portuguese Equestrian Art”, specially designed for families with children.

Inspired by the Lusitano horse Gentil, depicted in the equestrian statue of King D. José I in Terreiro do Paço, this new programme offers an educational journey through the key stages and characteristics of the evolution of equitation and equestrian art in Portugal, combined with live demonstrations of a unique heritage in the world.

By booking tickets, visitors also gain access to the Páteo da Nora, where, before the start of the gala, they can go behind the scenes of the equestrian art. Here, grooms care for the horses and riders warm up with their mounts.
