The Bloom Walk — Autumn Equinox is more than a walk: it is an invitation to mark the change of season through an experience of reconnecting with nature and with yourself.
Throughout an immersive and meditative walk through Farmyard of Monserrate, participants will be invited to practise mindfulness, engage in reflective exercises, and embrace moments of pause and contemplation. Each Bloom Walk is shaped by the season, drawing inspiration from its energy and the rhythms of nature as a starting point for personal transformation and discovery.
An afternoon to walk without rushing, be present, and see nature — and ourselves — through a different lens.
About the Guest
Mónica Franco - Movimento Bloom
Mónica Franco is a co-founder of Movimento Bloom and dedicates her work to fostering a deeper connection between people and the natural world. As an eco-change maker, she currently coordinates the organisation’s training and well-being programmes, as well as the international campaign Outdoor Classroom Day.
Passionate about nature since childhood, she believes in the transformative power of reconnecting with the natural world and creates experiences that invite discovery, reflection, and self-discovery.

In partnership with Parques de Sintra, the environmental non-governmental organisation Movimento Bloom holds monthly OPEN DAYS at the Farmyard of Monserrate and the Monserrate Nature Interpretation Centre.
In addition to the complementary activities, admission to these facilities on Open Days is free,subject to prior registration via the Parques de Sintra official website. Visitors taking part in the complementary activities are automatically registered for the Open Day.
