Natural Cosmetics Workshop
Let’s discover the secrets of natural cosmetics and learn how to create our own personal care products using medicinal plants. In this workshop, we’ll explore the properties and skin benefits of plants, learning how to prepare infused oils, natural ointments, and lip balms in a simple, sustainable, and artisanal way.
At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home:
- A jar of infused oil;
- A natural ointment;
- A natural lip balm;
- A handout with the recipes and recommendations.
About the Guest
Margarida Vazquez
Over the past few years, Margarida Vazquez has supported people through Ayurveda and yoga classes for pregnant women and older adults. In every class and one-to-one session, she strives to create a space where each person can reconnect with themselves, respecting their own pace and individual needs.
Five years ago, she launched her natural cosmetics project, driven by a desire to create products that reflect the values at the heart of her work: simplicity, authenticity, respect for nature, and mindful care. Each creation is rooted in the belief that what we put on our skin should honour the body, just as the choices we make in our lives should.
For Margarida, true well-being comes from harmony between the body, mind, nature, and the way we choose to live.

In partnership with Parques de Sintra, the environmental non-governmental organisation Movimento Bloom holds monthly OPEN DAYS at the Farmyard of Monserrate and the Monserrate Nature Interpretation Centre.
In addition to the complementary activities, admission to these facilities on Open Days is free,subject to prior registration via the Parques de Sintra official website. Visitors taking part in the complementary activities are automatically registered for the Open Day.
