Discovering Our Nature — Repair Balm Workshop

What if the next thing you make in the kitchen isn’t meant to be eaten? In this workshop, herbs from the Farmyard of Quintinha and simple ingredients are transformed into a natural balm for caring for your skin.

Discovering Our Nature

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll step into the Farmyard of Monserrate kitchen to make, from scratch, a nourishing and moisturising balm to care for and repair the skin.

Using simple ingredients and herbs that grow at the Quintinha, we’ll discover some of the traditional knowledge of home herbal remedies and prepare a recipe inspired by the arrival of the Autumn Equinox.

An opportunity to learn, experiment, and strengthen the connection between caring for our bodies and the place we call home.

At the end of the workshop, each participant will take home a regenerative balm made during the session, to continue caring for their skin in the months between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice.
